Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Coming Soon to Major U.S. Carriers

Samsung unveiled its latest model of the Galaxy smartphone series on March 15, 2013. The official launch gave consumers an in-depth look at the features of the Galaxy S4, while confirming various rumors and dispelling others.

The four major U.S. carriers that Samsung has lined up to provide its newest Galaxy phone to consumers are AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon. All of these carriers offer some version of speedy 4G network coverage that allows consumers to take full advantage of the data-intensive capabilities of the Galaxy S4.

Samsung’s launch program did not reveal a date for availabilitSamsung Galaxy S4 Unpacked 2013y for any of these carriers. The only clue was the hint that U.S. carriers might have the Samsung phone as early as the second quarter of 2013, with hints of dates that range from April through June. Samsung’s official U.S. website also notes that the Galaxy S4 will be available after the end of the first quarter 2013, which ends in March.

In exchange for an email address, name, cell number, and current mobile carrier, consumers have a chance to win a Galaxy S4 in a sweepstakes sponsored by Samsung. The sweepstakes began on March 14, 2013, and runs through April 22, 2013, with a random drawing almost daily. By registering for the Galaxy S4, consumers also opt to receive updates on the availability of the new phone. Samsung USA also offers consumer updates on its product lines through popular social media sites, such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

AT&T’s website provides a brief overview of the phone’s main features. Consumers can get additional information about the availability of the Galaxy S4 from AT&T by providing an email address on the sign-up page. Similarly, T-Mobile’s website has an option for receiving updates from the carrier by email. Neither of these carrier’s websites have pricing information for the phone itself, upgrade options for existing customers, or data plans available. Neither Sprint nor Verizon have created landing pages on their official websites for the new Galaxy phone yet. All four carriers have stores and authorized retailers you can visit to buy, activate, and upgrade services.
